The John Henry Smith Scholarship provides Black male, graduating seniors, the opportunity to develop lasting legacy as they prepare for college, grounded in the four core values: Character Building, Compassion, Education, and Sportsmanship.

  We partner with certified archery and sport shooting instructors to provide instruction for beginner minority archers and shooters. Through the development of fundamental skills, we help them cultivate an authentic love for these unique sports. 

  The JHS Archery and Sport Shooting Scholarship will be awarded to graduating minority seniors who have actively participated in the sports, exhibit JHS core values, and have exceled, academically, throughout the year.
